EMSOL puts air quality sensors on construction sites and makes the data actionable for compliance teams. Edge devices measure gas concentrations and particulate levels and transmit readings continuously over MQTT.
Data flow
Readings arrive at AWS IoT Core, which routes them to a Lambda processor. The processor applies threshold rules, writes time-series data to the store, and emits compliance alerts when readings breach legal limits.
Dashboard
A React dashboard surfaces live readings, historical trends, and compliance status per site. Site managers can configure alert thresholds and download reports for regulatory submissions. This was my first professional project — I owned the dashboard front-to-back.
